Ken-Maverick

His spirit is soaring, free in the sky,
Uncaptured by pain of times gone by,

To the heavens' he's taken upon his leave
Though injured by love, and still prone to grieve,

His heart remains open, for some hope he has found,
While spreading his wings up off the ground.

The jail bars did open, and let this man loose,
No longer a captive; no more a recluse.

Ken's finding his feet, as his life takes to flight
Just you watch his rise to an indominable height.

He has the talent, if he'll push himself far
For Ken, your spirit shines with the glow of a star.

Author notes

What can I say? Someone once accused me of trying to 'muscle in' on Ken in a romantic sense; which is something I don't do online - however I do have the greatest respect, and admiration for him, as I know he has lived through heartbreak, and overcome his past - both of which are incredibly hard steps to take, and for that, he gets my applause.
