Hidden, quietly boiling
my darkest frame of mind
emotions, visions that I hide
for no-one else to find.
Bubbles shimmer just below
a tainted coil tightly wound
thoughts, feelings just for show
hide fear of being found.
Festering deep inside
bitter thoughts betray
the overwhelming urge
to maim, impale and slay.
Searching desperately I seek
pathways through the maze of fate
needing to release resentment
unravel all this twisted hate.
Shadows now are calling me
leaking through a fractured shell
whispers chant to be unleashed
bring to all an untold hell.
One wrong move could crumble
my world come crashing down
there amongst the debris
bodies would lay - unbound.
