How to seize the frisk of summer

There's an invisible bond
between you and me.
Bringing me your sound,
Traversing the blue sea. 

Hot summer's sunlight
shining above our pates.
Never have we been so tight,
Smiling face to face.
Beautiful birds sing
happily in the sky.
Stretching our wings,
as if we can fly.
Absorbed in literature,
unaware of the rain.
Searching for our future,
forgetting all our pain. 

Thanks to the bond
between you and me.
The summer has gone,
leaving lots of glee.
