The Minute From The Hour

Each second that skips by,
Each minute that saunters past,
Each hour that lazily crawls,
There’s so much for me think upon.

The beat of my heart I can feel,
The pulse within this wrist of mine,
The steady breathing of this chest,
There’s so much going on around me.

There’s so much chasing in my mind,
Things to do and things I have done,
All those good things,
And all those bad things…

Would I turn back time?
Of course I would,
And I would do anything,
To have that second chance.

You once had a choice,
But you admit you chose wrong,
Now I have that choice,
And I won't make the wrong one...

I cannot bare to apart from you babe,

Can't you tell it does'nt need saying,

I love you honey with all my heart,

And I need to know you feel the same...

I cannot live with hope anymore,

I need you to tell me straight,

I cannot waste my time on predicting,

As I know one day I'll be wrong again.

This piece I write for you now,

Is a cry out for your affections,

A plea for your compassion,

For this is mental torture to me...

Each second that skips by,
Each minute that saunters past,
Each hour that lazily crawls,
There’s so much for me think upon.

The beat of my heart I can feel,
The pulse within this wrist of mine,
The steady breathing of this chest,
There’s so much going on around me.

There’s so much chasing in my mind,
Things to do and things I have done,
All those good things,
And all those bad things…

    Very deep poem.

I love it, although it is hard to read with the background. Keep up the good work.
