Abraham Lincoln has come to town
As Oboma tore all barriers down
Oh God! so many years have past
But sanity and reason has won at last
Though the 1860’s is long filed away
But The Union didn’t win . . until today
Surely the spirit of Kunta punched the sky
As we all witnessed Jessie Jackson cry
Oboma faces confusion, poverty, and war
But he’ll CHANGE America. . That's for sure
The whole world is rising to its feet
As Oboma takes the Presidential seat
Can we now begin to object to war ?
Can we spend wasted money . .on US poor ?
Yes . .What would Kunta Kinte say
As America throw enduring caste away
But though we're overjoyed at Obama wining
It’s well to remember. .this is just the beginning

I'm sure I've read this before. I think it's been on the spotlight column right? I can see why though. It is postive and smart and I thought it was well thought out. You did a good job in expressing yourself here.
