News Travells Far And Wide

I wonder as I sit
watching the 6 o'clock news
which American patriot
thinks he has some clues

The news reporter states
that Obama's out in front
but all I want to know
is injuries of Carmichael Hunt

I don't know much
about American politics
if it's anything like Australian
then they're just a bunch of dim-witts

but as i flick
to SBS world news
I see a rather smart man
wearing black lace-up shoes

He's talking about
all these things he'll do
if he gets elected president
by all of you

I think to myself
that guy's not to bad
If Obama won president
it would be pretty mad

tomorrow comes
and i read the paper
'Obama's Victory'
I guess he's the next shaper

As I sit here
in my comfy lounge chair
I congratulate that man
with the short black hair

Author notes

LOL!!!

Yer well I'm Australian and for the past million days that only thing on the news is the presidential election... so yer well done mate and give back our news!!! lol

I have a feeling that Obama will be hogging the headlines for a while though.
