Think of something beautiful
Think of Paris, perhaps and its bright lights
Like fireflies stuck in a canvas of ash
And the Eiffel tower, a triangular black hole
Sucking the stars to outshine all others
Or think of the Amazon rainforest, perhaps,
If you hold nature dear
A universal salad captured in a continental bowl
A picture of Eden in motion,
Giving it all its various colors,
As if it was showered upon by a rain of paint

Think of something beautiful
Think of a symphony, I suppose
Soft, whispering notes
Or music sheets that scream, "Hail!"
Like those of Beethoven's
Think, perhaps, of the gushing of a waterfall,
The chirping of a nightingale
Or the booming of thunder,
As the lightning dances

Think of something beautiful
Think of your perfume, perhaps,
Or the smell of coffee beans being brewed,
The aroma that tickles your nose
And makes you desire it

Think of something beautiful
A lollipop, perhaps,
With its sweet, fruity ripeness
Ripeness of a joy that leaves a mark,
Face paint on your tongue
Or think, maybe, of a bit of wasabi
That piece of slime with flammeable subatomic particles
That heat your cheeks until they swell

Think of something beautiful
Think of a soothing spring breeze
Or the cuddly fur of a teddy bear,
Or cool, chilly water
As your skin carries the droplets onboard
Think of the warmth of the first ray of sunshine,
Or the calm, hypnotic drowsiness brought by the night
Or think of my hand, holding yours
Soft, yet firm, reassuring you
That I wouldn't let go
