Do you know if you have what it takes?
How are you different from the fakes?
Can you be certain? Are you sure?
Or, are you just shoveling manure?
Would you bear arms to defend your land,
Or acquiesce to an outlaw band?
When you look at terrorist powers,
Do you see butterflies and flowers?
I, for one, do not think it a sin
To defend my home, kith and kin.
Amendment Two gives that right to me.
Its what guarantees I'll remain free.
To survive, I walk softly about.
I need not bother to scream and shout.
Be careful when you spit on this hick -
For I carry a helluva a big stick.

Cool write
Excellent take on the prompt...I always say that any enemy wouldn't stand a chance in trying to establish a front here...most people own guns and those who don't would borrow one from their neighbors...It would be over 200 milion people against the enemy army...and it's true: people see flowers and butterflies until bugs invade their garden; it is a different story then, as we all know what should be done with bugs in that case.
