Realm...

Missing image

dreams now come to an end;

you floated into a realm

of inner possession.

...i refuse to set free,

should i do, an awakening,

creation of awayness

will numb me.

a want for warm caresses,

whispers of naught softly to my ears;

slight intimation, now

ethereal amatory manifestation.

more and more is all i seek;

-as i am still asleep,

beg you in all craziness

please love, give me more

wake-up calls.

    A VERY BEAUTIFUL PIECE, INDEED - FROM A VERY BEAUTIFUL LADY!

    more and more is all I seek;
    -as I am still asleep,
    I beg you in all craziness
    please love
    give me no wake-up call.

    I often feel this way, my dear friend - as I often sleep quite late on the weekends especially when the weather is frightful outside and the wind and the rain is playing a symphony on my bedroom windows calling me away to DREAMLAND again where I can forget my troubles and worries - which we all seem to have more and more of in these troubled times as we grow older, etc. It's been a long time since we have chatted and 'or commented on each others pieces - too long if you ask me! I hope that all is well with you and sincerely THANK YOU for the pleasure of reading this fine piece, today! Hopefully, this sleeping beauty will awake from her slumber at some point - for spending too much time in DREAMLAND can also be a way to miss the wonder and the beauty of life that is all around us. Perhaps, a sweet and euphoric kiss from a handsome fellow like me will be all that she needs to get out and about again.
    Peace & Love!
    Earl.

    This is a beauty. Funny is it not how at times we wish to just stay in our dreams. Even the love making can be at times, simply sacred. wonderful write poet.
