Crossroads of Fate!

Along the deep reaches of
my drifting mind,

arid plains force me
into a melancholy muse

I ponder amidst interims
of obscurity,

searching within uncharted
realms to unearth purposeful
destiny

Clouds enshroud dubious
emotions that fleece my
shredded heart

As mounting desires of
intense anxiety taunt me

Winds assail from every point
beseeching my comfort

I am forlorn in this odyssey
of enchantment

Trying to ascertain guidance
from faded images inscribed
on an old rugged cross

You really went deep into your soul with this one. I can feel how you feel, you made it so evident. You were raw and let your words relate a story that keeps you seeking for answers.
    Well done, my friend.
