When you called me,
I woke up in the night,
a thousand miles away,
I could feel your light.
When you called me,
a whisper in my heart,
that warmed me to the soul,
every moment were apart.
When you called me,
In your loving way,
playfulness in your eyes,
I never want it to go away.
When you called me,
with tears in your eyes,
I wraped my arms around you,
and share with you soft sighs.

Nice write. For me, being called in the night can induce panic at first but, sometimes, it leads to a feeling of intimacy. A person actually calls at that ungodly hour and, if it's not an emergency, there is closeness there.

NIcely written. . .
Good use of words, and some good imagery. Not bad at all, it just didn't grab my attention right away. It was a drifting snowflake of a poem and well written. Was very beautiful I just thought it lacked intensity. Good job.

very nice, i like that you started all the stanza with "when you called me" it added something special to the piece, great job, best of luck in the contest

This is very heart touching. To care for one and have them touch you so, that their call, over so many miles, can still be heard by you.
