Eyes shinning, a smile in place
Waiting for the flash to light up her face
Makes me wonder what her future holds
Will she be wealthy with silver and gold
Or will her treasures be worth more
Maybe a knight to slay dragons for sure
Independent she will be I say
Standing up for what’s right in every way
Never the first to back down from a fight
Giving her all when she knows she’s right
This child will grow up to take a stand
When protecting others on American land
