shrouded with contradiction
wandering days of yester clouding minds
lost without faith
hope seems obscured
by eternal misery

like a burning bush
wrapped in ashen hues
renouncing trepidation
heaving the burdens of empty souls
in endless thoughts

once embraced in heavenly blessings
fears cowered by rejection
beating hearts dismissed
with infinite wonder
life sheltered anew
