Darkness falls from blinding light
Floating to the earth, forever bound
Hearts darker than the black of night
Look and search, no love to be found.
The sky is where the hope runs free
The source of light, whole and unbroken
It's how the birds of white come to be
Knowing and strong, with words unspoken.
Black feathers shed from pure, magical white
Soft yet cutting, terribly deadly to touch
Swooping out of the dark, fighting for sight
It is they who you are to give your trust.
The stars are the windows to what is lost
To the ones that fly too high to see
The birds will take you but at a heavy cost
And they will bring you back to me.

There is a meaning behind this, I wonder if any of you will get it.

Such a painful feeling creeps through this poem, as though someone cannot see the true desire inside of it. I especially love the lines, the stars are window of what is lost to the ones who fly to high to see.
