my heart brims
with knowledge of do's and don'ts,
I put a seed of realisation
soil rich in weeds,
plant doesn't germinate in stuffed.
I must clear all hoe
put kernel, tend it
new takes place of its own from nowhere.
with knowledge of do's and don'ts,
I put a seed of realisation
soil rich in weeds,
plant doesn't germinate in stuffed.
I must clear all hoe
put kernel, tend it
new takes place of its own from nowhere.
Author notes
"In this profound poverty of being nothing,
every something is a present."

so true, knowledge never leads to realisation. At times it is impediment. Always new comes out of nothing.

you have chosen a powerful and very appropriate metaphor here in response to the contest-prompt ... our attachment to wanting to be(come) "somebody" is perfectly symbolized by the garden overgrown by weeds ... and the "nothingness" so many of us fear so much is presented truthfully as the soil labored by the watchful eye (I) of consciousness ... all that is not "real" will dissolve, all concepts and beliefs uprooted by the gardener's loving hand ...
perfect ...

inspiring
Indeed, a full cup cannot receive any more, it is the empty one that receives fresh brew. The garden is a rich source of metaphor, I like this one. Best of luck!
