I race, I race
Every girl dreams of this day
But not one wishes for it to end this way
My heart, it broke, as he drove away
On this beautiful day in autumn may
I ran to the road, screaming his name
I felt the pain of our dwindling flame
I watched and cried as I saw our love
Dissapear to the skies above

Interpret it as you will but to me it's a woman being dumped at the altar and the crimson lace symbolising the blood from a bleeding heart on her wedding dress... yer...
