All the years, so quickly consumed.
With the memories of that afternoon.
A friend, a thought, an empty room,
Filled with her voice and sweet perfume.
We walked down the road of comfort
By misunderstanding eyes.
Grow deaf to the crowd of judgment,
And their slandering lies.
I wore your ring of trust,
Under purple and sliver skies,
And you wore my golden cross,
Given to steal your cries.

Such a heart filled write. I love the title "Ring of trust"
And your words are placed perfectly.
This part was one of my favorites:
"I wore your ring of trust,
under purple and silver skies
and you wore my golden cross,
given to steal your cries"
Thank you for entering & Good luck!
