Medicine Dance

eagle feathers, rattles, drums:
the rain dancers sing

we honor Wakinyan
with our bodies.

Author notes

I used eagle, feather, rain dance, rattle, drum, and Wakinyan (though that wasn't on the list it's still a Lakota word.)

    Thank you for your entry

Nice job. The flow is good and I like the use of the egale feathers as the eagle is my spirit guide lol.

The form was done well. It was to be seven lines but you did have the word count down. Good imagery as well.

I encourage you to keep writing to read and comment.

    God Bless
    Tammy
