Gray Lady
by Darmok
11/04/08
Just before it rains,
In the damp thick drape of her air,
I can taste the wells of her bliss
In the eagerness of her kiss.
The grayness of the day is her way,
Colorless dreams serene.
And all is seen in one wet beam,
Grayness reigns…supreme
Tree tops respond egged on this way,
Stirred by her breath,
Do not resist her fraggled twist,
The bending,
the never ending sway.
And when she lets
In thunderous claps
her rain begins to fall.
Clouds burst their seams,
And grayness sprawls,
Drenched, I cannot forget,
She will run through me
In savage streams.

Oh, now, this is so very excellent with some fine rhyme and great movement, good use of short line (not always easy) I loved it!
