I had lost all my hope,
All the ones who said
They would never give up on me,
Had done exactly that
All the ones that said
They’d never walk away from me,
Did exactly that, walked away when things got hard.
I know I’m not perfect,
And I didn’t expect any happiness,
Now I had lost all my hope as well,
They she came along, and told me they were wrong,
Promised she’d never walk away or judge me,
I’m thankful for that because she
May have just saved my life,
Because she’s given me hope back.
