I'll collect the red from the apples and strawberries when they ripe.
The orange from the orange trees in the morning light.
The yellow from the sun, I'll collect when it is new.
The green of the grass fresh with morning dew.
Blue from the sky and brooks. and let the mingle in the hues.
Purple when the sun gives the night a deep lavender touch.
The brown is where I lay it down on the ground's rich with lust.
Black and white is how I'll frame it all going around twice.
Them with a touch of silver and gold, I'll make you a great big bow.
