learning unconditional love
meant never having to cry
over spilled milk
never being too afraid
to speak up or out
never leaving without
calling out
don't let the bed bugs bite
never worrying when time came
to say goodbye
that my love would have went
unfelt or unsaid
all i have to give this world
i learned from you two
passing it down
generation
to
generation
meant never having to cry
over spilled milk
never being too afraid
to speak up or out
never leaving without
calling out
don't let the bed bugs bite
never worrying when time came
to say goodbye
that my love would have went
unfelt or unsaid
all i have to give this world
i learned from you two
passing it down
generation
to
generation
Author notes
my nan and pop taught me what unconditional love was. even though you might get upset. mad. angry. let down. disappointed... your love never stops . if anything it becomes stronger ... the bonds that unconditional love can make still astounds me. as it is the only way i love.
