Within your eyes, such bluer skies to carry me away;
escape! Such that this heart decries, but knows not how to sway.
A mind so blind to rain or shine, that follows love's one call,
a life in kind, in pain, or fine, for which real lovers fall.
Within your whispered breaths of joy, exhaustion to my soul;
No sin, these whispers grasp the boy, the man; out of control.
A heart to find a way to start, imparting joy always;
Your heart becomes my pay, my art, until the end of days.
Author notes
"Your mission, should you choose to accept it...is impossible!" (Still, it's nice to dream about)
