I Thought You Always Said Never

I keep fading in and out
Passing through the bottom
But soon enough we'll find our sounds
Even when theres no one
So will you come around again
And say that its not worth drinking
Myself to sleep over a lost friend
But to tell you simply I been wondering...

If you ever said never
If you ever had something profound
Something that made you stronger
Someone that like a drug made sense of the sounds
Take away the patterns
Pass me another glass
I'll hide inside its but it shouldn't be your concern
It feels like a catholic mass

Oh, so you thought you could break me
Thought you could try
I bet you didn't know about anything
Sing a pattern so softly and bright
I just want my life back
So take your opinions about what to do
Paint a portrait of you in the palette of black
But I swore this wouldn't be a song about you

If you ever said never
If you ever had something profound
Something that made you stronger
Someone that like a drug made sense of the sounds
Take away the patterns
Pass me another glass
I'll hide inside its but it shouldn't be your concern

I was reading halfway and had to check whether you marked this as lyrics. It had a really good beat going with it.

I loved the first stanza, but I think I lost some attention after - it needs to be tightened up.
