You were tired; broken
Not the same boy I knew years ago
Stuck, not knowing where to turn;
After exhausting all options
Turning to me; Decisions made
A smile playing on your beautiful mouth
Finally, life showed itself
Behind your amazing Blue eyes
No more will you concede;
Its about happiness
I believed in you;
While you believed in us

Nicely done...it feels like a journey through a life and the pain and joy found along the way...finally eaching happiness in the comfort of each other...very deep and touching...

By reading this poem I feel that you let the reader get to know this little boy who grew up and became the man you wanted him to be. I hope I got that right. I loved this story and your poem. You needed little more to say you mannaged to describe this love well. Good luck in the contest!
