hot out of the oven
purple plums slices
line the Jello mold
red shiny cherries
atop pineapple upside cake
orange marmalade
drizzled over apple dumplings
yellow bananas
sliced and tossed into fruit salad
green kiwi
spiral cut with slices of strawberries inserted

a rainbow of deserts
on thanksgiving day
how will we ever choose
