An old folk once said,
To find who you are a mirror is a key.
But when you look into a mirror,
You see what you are, not what you want to be.
The reflection staring back at you,
Isn’t just a vision?
It’s what’s inside, who you are,
And a life time of decisions.
There are those who love the object,
And those who see shame and guilt,
But for all those lonely people.
Think of the worse off and how they felt.
Too fat or too skinny,
Too bald or too plain,
To lift up your courage,
You’re as beautiful as every drop of rain.
So when you realise your not perfect,
And want to be some one your not
Think of the less unfortunate,
And be happy with what you’ve got.

that is so true!
be satisfied with what God gave us, and at some times i struggle with that, but to the world they would not know the difference,

Nice Effort!
Good rhythm and fair rhyme. I liked the way it moved.
