Falling rain to drench my soul
Immensity of life
Wondrous colors to extol
Rid me now of strife
Background blues of autumn hues
Reds that streak the sky
Which color will you chose
I wait for your reply
Orange and gold blend into one
Sweet lavenders that lunge
A new day has begun
Into wonder we are plunged
Yellow of the daffodils
Purple from the night sky
Such beauty in details
How I wish that I could fly
Rainbow of God’s promise
That jets across the heavens
No more doubting Thomas
Such beauty as it deepens

I could feel why I cling to the icon of rainbows to remind me what is promised by Him, you made creation come alive in this...loved it, bless you.

I love how you describe the rainbow in colors of nature. Beautiful images. Love the picture and background also!
