Her back once arched
so elegantly,
beneath his soft breath
of Spring.
Their magic swayed
within arenas
of prismatic rainbows.
She never felt Winter's
icy swirls
twist her limbs,
making her old
beneath his frozen facade.
In sorrow's brittle hands,
her boughs broke,
as love's supple touch
wasted.

What a beautifully wistful description of the tree bark.....i loved it!

"She never felt Winter's
icy swirls
twist her limbs,"
I thought this was totally perfect!
Great write! Best of luck!
