Diwali just went by,
people have returned from home
in the gloomy restricted walls of GH
new fragrances, sweet aromas roam
working on the scheduled projects
I was the only one who stayed back
so people never forget to drop by
and offer me diwali's sweet pack
I was happy and contended
but missed my special sweet
my all time favorite
'kaaju ki burfi' treat
but it just so happened today
when I approached one of my mates
that she appeared to be gulping down
something I can never hate!
A deliciously wrapped 'Kaaju ki burfi'
my mouth watered fast
I hesitated but then I asked
can I by any chnace get one?
but she said,
Oh sorry, it was the last!

Kaaju ki burfi is a very favorite sweet of mine.. I missed it on Diwali Coz I stayed back at the hostel.
Diwali is an Indian Festival, the festival of light and of sweets 
( I love it coz of the second part)
