How can I measure my love
For the only man in my life
How can I ever explain
Why I will always be his wife
Can one measure the blue sky above
Or measure the depth of the Ocean blue
Then don't ask me to measure my love
For the man that I love so true
He is my breath, my life, my love
He brings me so much happiness
His good looks and manly charms
Make me feel that I have been blessed
The strength in his arms as he holds me
The melody in his voice as he speaks
The tenderness of his love
As he plants a kiss on my cheek
Can one measure the Sunshine
Or count the Stars in the Sky
That's how much I love my man
He's the what, the who, and the why

hi there

i really loved reading this poem. i love the fact that love is so alive for so many of us. you are truly a lucky and blessed one, as you say
i absolutely love how you compared your love to immeasurable things. especially this stanza.
Can one measure the blue sky above
Or measure the depth of the Ocean blue
Then don't ask me to measure my love
For the man that I love so true
the flow was wonderful here. and i felt my heart soaring, really.

Very nice. Your ending, especially, is an obvious response to the questions proposed with the contest and I love that! Many only wish they had what you do. Thanks for entering!
