Can you hear his organ blarring through thick wood panels
The drumming of thunderous feet against the planks
The gentle twinkling of his music box
He keeps near his breast
Can you hear her shallow sobs
The crashings of the blackend waves against silken black feet
The soft hums of her voice
She hopes will bring him home to her
Can you hear the gay applause of chattering little birds
The howling of the furry brown chimpanzee
The silken howl of the cat
Can you feel the chill of the night breeze
The shivering of your bones
The scraping of the paddles along the boat
Pulling them along the murky ink of night
Can you see the lovers falling
Deeper into the moonlit shore
The loud shriek of happiness
That you can hear forever more
Can you sense their souls a-swirling
The slight tingle of their breath against your neck
The soft scent of decay
Stirring your senses as you pass over their graves
