Wonderful write if i may say so. There is something very wise written in your words which caught my attention. This little piece speaks to me of new beginnings...of new wonders to behold as you grow to appreciate everything. It speaks of life moving onward and collecting wisdom on the way. How does one get all these things from your few words? That, my friend is why i say this is wise. Excellent piece. Normally not my style but i do like to come and see how these work and thrash them out with myself before delivering my verdict.

Maybe "Tinkle" I like the analagy of a trickle of water and
the day of birth; both lead on to bigger and better things.

    Beautifully succinct

This seems vaguely Buddhist in its content and simple presentation. Do you have any Buddhist beliefs?

If not, nevermind. It's still a short, lovely poem. Every haiku should say this much in such a little space.

    Sublime!

    Bellisimo...

such a delightful haiku...seventeen syllables with sounds of inner contentment amongst the trickling water...akin to a christening of new life...

    Kudos
