I think I just lost all common sense I was born with

Home alone, and with my heart in my throat
I hate myself for doing this
Hate the fact that I probablly just ruined this
Even though this is just mild awknowledgment of my life

So sitting here, wondering how to get it back
I jump as the phone rings and see it's you
Answer sayin' Ricky ain't here
