Night whispers damp stillness into her ear
chilled panic streaks down her spine
rushing throughout her chest
jolting through her bare legs,
she races with each step more frightened then the next
she glides through dimly lit alleys like a leaf lost in a storm
night, chuckles as he flirts with her shadow,
he comes closer, whisking around her ear, she can still feel
the warm damp chill of his breath as she flees he steals the warmth from her gasping lips, he calls from deep within her all the emotions she had locked away, he beckoned he demanded, his call ricocheted throughout her as he tempted the braille on her skin
causing her to quake, she could go no further, she collapsed against a wall under a light
of golden cream to sweet for the night, around the world she ran and now her eyes finally opened causing the night step back in beloved fear....his day has come to chase him away
