Summer's Sensations

As summer approaches my mind turns to heat
Sunshine and beaches to paddle and splash
Early sunrises, a sensational treat
Young ones and surfers ride the waves as they crash
Gracing the ocean, with nature compete
Glowing with health, watch their eyes as they flash.

End of each day glows a brilliant sunset
Display of myriad colours embracing the sky
Yellows, pinks and oranges I'll not quickly forget
Streaming in hues that make my heart sigh
Glancing at my feet, with soft ripples, they're wet
Grateful for my freedom  as I watch the birds fly.

Such a fine time to appreciate God's creation
Having these feelings of pure admiration.
