Walk

Missing image

Night time walks behind me
with darkness on its breath
it welcomes me, unfeeling
it welcomes me with death.

Fear walks beside me
with footsteps dark and cold
silently approaching
this fate that was foretold.

I walk inside acceptance
I stumble to my plight
the cobbled stones, uncaring
will see my death this night.

i thought this was dark and very cleverly written.

the flow was really polished; the rhyme didn't interfere with the poem.

    generally, i liked this piece.

thanks for following the rules and best of luck
