Stood Up.

As I sit now in this my moment of silence.
In the world of cold solitude I face yet again the polished silver.
A time of reflection, a glimpse into my world.

So often the world has bled the life from my eyes.
To be born again, into the passionate madness.
Soft whispers of darkness, why this longing for human embrace.

Powerful write. I like the way you express the emotions and the words allow the reader to emphasize with the feeling of loneliness in the poem. I think many of us long for love to come along in life, but so often the only thing people know is the loneliness in life. Hope the upcoming holiday season brings you more light than darkness.

    Beautiful

D, I love this. I feel it just as intensely as you do. Our Capricorn soul wishes it didn't feel the need for others. Love is a place we have no power or strength. It is a place where others have to prove they are worth the time and effort to us. As always, I know you, like me, feel the disappointment. I hope the new year that's coming proves to turn the odds of love in our favor. Until then, we are friends and you know I know how you feel. Peace bro.

    D...Are you ok?

I'm here if you need to talk.

As always, you make sorrow handsome, as I make it pretty.
