She floats upon both time and space,
the protector of the stars
Dancing across the galaxies,
sometimes as close as Mars
Collecting all the fallen suns,
she breathes their fire back
The sky it sparkles with their light,
I can’t imagine: were it black
Pure solitude; we would surely sense,
at the absence of nights birth
So lonely we might feel without,
those beams crashing here to Earth
To see just dark upon the skies,
no glimmering silver rays
Could break ones heart and leave them cold,
a feeling of dismay
The mystic sight of a luminous sky,
a twinkling sea of light
To dive right in and have a swim,
to delve in sheer delight
They burn so hot and shine so bright,
they’re filled with her desires
For thousands of years they’ve set the hearts,
of lover’s right on fire
Next time you see the fiery sky,
with stars that set you free
Thank that gorgeous Lady,
who sets them there for us to see

In a round about way, I was given the link to this, and I must say, this is utterly magickal! The imagery is outstanding, the presentation is mystifying. I have thoroughly enjoyed this piece of enchanted art.

Nice rhyme and rhythm your fist stanza 'a' needs to be 'as'
I do like the lyrical nature of this.
