Warm eye’s smiling at one another
Our bodies lay tangled under his warm sheets
Starring into his warm liquid blue eyes I pause
Frowning suddenly I got off of the bed
“I love you,” I whispered
“I love you to,” he smiled back
Walking out from the room I stood in the hallway
How many times have you lied to me love?
How many women have you slept with besides me love?
How many times have you regretted it love?
Quickly I made my way to our storage room
What do you not get from me that you get from them love?
Am I not sexy enough, or as good in bed love?
Can I fix myself to please you love?
Opening his closet, I bent down to find the locked safe
Are there lips as soft as mine love?
How can you smile at me with those lips love?
Did you make them believe you loved them love?
Entering the combination, my father’s birthday I heard the unfamiliar click, and smiled
Do you know that I have a clue love?
Do you believe that I’m ignorant love?
Do you really think I didn’t find there panties in your drawer love?
Opening the small door, I pulled out the heavy metal, cool to my touch
I still love you love.
I still want to be with you love.
I still would never do what you have done to me love.
Standing up slowly, I heard you calling me
Walking down the hallway slowly I stood in our bedroom doorway
Don’t worry love.
Don’t shed a tear love.
Don’t lie to me anymore love.
Raising my arm, the heavy metal in my hand, closing my eyes I pressed down the trigger
The gunshot made my ear’s ring love.
The bullet made you bleed love.
I killed you before you killed me love.
Laughing as tears streamed down my cheek’s I fell to my knees. “Goodbye, love.”
