My back is against the walls that I've built up again,
The same exact walls that we tore down together.
You helped me bring them down before,
Why is it that now, when I need you most, you can't see through them?
I'm sliding down to the ground, where I belong,
Huddled in this forsaken corner of tears,
My favorite place to be without you,
My home away from home...
My home away from you...
You're eyes burn holes in my heart
Each time you glance in my direction,
Your gravity pulls my walls down
Each time I'm near your beating heart.
I'm crashing and crumbling in two pieces.
The lingering tug is pulling me toward you,
But I know I need to let you go..
Time teaches us the lessons that we never learn,
I think it's my time.
The clock is running at a million minutes a second,
These last hours are the most important,
I need you to realize and catch me

I sat in awe for like two minutes after reading those lines. I literally reread them five times, because they hold so much truth and so much emotion and you captured a little bit of everything in those lines. It was simply spectacular.
