My Treasure Chest of Jewels

Missing image

I have a magical garden
Therein lies a treasure chest
Of precious rocks, stones and  jewels
Each shining uniquely among the rest

There is a blue turquoise stone
It represents ancient wisdom
Yet, it doesn’t exist by truth alone
For it’s goal is peace for all, not some

An emerald of a rich and wondrous color
Aids in fighting despair and depression
A deep green it represents the whole of Nature
All-healing self contained in holistic succession

Amethyst purple and golden citrine
Bring balance and vibrant energy
All that one needs lies deep within
These incredible stones of synergy

A large rock lies in the garden’s center
Where one can stop to sit and rest
It accents the yard when one enters
Of all my favorite places, it is the best

Black Onyx is a rare, beauteous one
Deep and mysterious is this rock
A shiny surface as bright as the sun
Many secrets it has the key to unlock

Labradorite crystal humbles the ego
And cleanses all hidden negativity
Connecting with what doesn’t show
It encourages inner strength and stability

Blue agate promotes peace and mental health
For it is a stone of love, unconditional and pure
It brings with it a bountiful spiritual wealth
And a special bond that will always endure

There’s a layer of precious white gravel for drainage
And it provides the garden an excellent foundation
For it shifts and adapts below the earth’s surface
Allowing for all foliage to flourish and grow in

Friendship is represented in the Rose Quartz
Fiery and mysterious is the magnificent Opal
There is even a set of healing Boji Stones
One a happy female, and a contented male

One of my treasure chest’s newest additions
Is a most healing and remarkable tan stone
For etched on it’s surface is a magical formulation
A word that simply says “HOPE” . . .

Very original, with comparing people with the stones that shine as they do. A great idea and well developed too. Gently rhymed, coming together in a unity of thought and a great closing word "Hope" Good!

"... each member is a precious jewel in a treasure chest that I cherish. Each of you is represented here. Which one are you?"

can I be the treasure chest that contains them all ?

we have another passion in common, my sister, besides herbs and eastern spirituality, and through this precious verse, I have discovered it ... you have a deep intuitive knowledge about gemstones and crystals, I do feel their energies too, yet have less ability to express it like you do ...

by the way, you look gorgeous on your new pics ...

    much love,
    your sister maa

      Hi, my friend!

Thank you for your lovely comment on 'My Treasure Chest of Jewels'. I have several more additions to make to it. It is overflowing!

I apologise for taking so long to respond. I have been in the process of moving and listing my home for sale. Needless to say, I have been quite busy and stressed. "AUMMMMMM!" I need a lot of those. Love and hugs, Karen
