This is a poem for my wonderful AP sisters on this site.
Who are intelligent women, very bright.
This sisterhood we have, I hope stays strong.
On this site, where our hearts of poetry belong.
We write out our feelings, good or bad.
We write out our hearts, whether we feel happy, angry, or sad.
Women who are wise and strong.
And, no-one can ever prove us wrong.
But, all in all we feel understood.
Being part of a sisterhood.
Austyn, a girl searching for love.
Sedasia, a woman singing her heart to the sky above.
Kapricia, a woman who writes with soul.
Amera, a woman who can write many styles and make them sound like gold.
Krystal, who can relate love to a first dance.
Giving romance a chance.
Ray who is a young girl
who sees wonder in the world.
Desire who is one of the most talented poetesses I have ever read.
It's evident in every word she has penned.
Kristina, who writes for the win.
And, hates judgmental people who get under her skin.
Teresa, who writes out much heartache and pain.
But, always has a rose to give to take away another one's tears of rain.
Michaela, who writes with spirituality.
Showing her individuality.
And, Ashleigh writing her book of AM in totality.
Last, but not least, is my cousin, Holly.
Who writes about nature, sensual and dark.
Or whatever genre which her muse may spark.
These are the wonderful women on Allpoetry.
Who are part of my AP family.

I wrote a sisterhood poem quite awhile ago, but wanted to revise it so as to include all of my AP sisters and cousins.

Thanks for reading. Sandra. This is a poem I initially wrote back in, I think it was late 2006 or early 2007, for Sedasia and Kapricia (Ephiphany) who were my two AP Sisters at the time. Since then, the family has grown quite a bit. I thought it would only be fair to rewrite it so as to include everyone. Thanks for the comment.
