Hush now, Love, and dash now from the phone
and come to me-- but use the far back gate.
We'll meet beneath the old, old willow tree,
then fly from here and leave this wretched state.
Our families embroiled in their hate,
bleak enemies they'd tear you from my arms--
but we'll escape them, you and I, my love.
O sweet, sweet thought, so many charms!
O what adrenaline now pulses through our veins,
now at the moment of escape!
But we must fly! I hear their calling cries!
The falling shadows be our cov'ring cape...
But damn-- those wicked flashlight beams, they search!
Run on, my love, and leap into the car--
we might escape if with all haste we drive,
and do not stop until we've travelled far.
Now roars the engine with unnatural might!
Speed on, speed on, they'll never catch us now!
Their hate won't keep us apart long;
together we'll survive somehow.
Soon shall we be free, dear Love--
Alas! now still do they pursue us fast!
Still we'll drive far from them,
'til they are mem'ries in the distant past.
I've lost control! The car-- it spins and reels!
What can we do? We rush fast to a tree.
It looms now tall, a barrier held firm.
I love you still. Now die we, I and thee...

Author notes
Haha, that was rather depressing, no?
Sorry about that folks.
Not sure what I wrote that one for. Another random one I guess.

What? XD How morbid! It's a good morbid though? XD Just one thing I'd say, the way you wrote it seems alittle too Romeo and Juliet. That's not bad, it's just that the fact that you used "phone" and "car" in there didn't seem to fit
Other than that though, I liked it
