My broken body
Sore and swollen
Nothing helps

Wake each morning
Take my pills
They might work
A new set every month

The swelling never goes
The aches get worse
As the days go by
I feel as if I'm falling apart

My mind racing
Everything hurts
I can't seem to get better
It always gets worse

Surgery after surgery
Pill after pill
Doctor after doctor
It never seems to help

My broken body
