On your Feet

when light disappears
stars appear;
propel us in despair,
countless show up in the sky
faithful,
without leading astray.

a troubled ship lost
in turbulence,
gets way back
beckoning a star,
holding twinkle as 'hope'

    very good indeed

    There are constant lights in the darkness, which will lead us onward until dawn. Hope is a beacon for troubled ships. I like the associations I have with this poem.
