when light disappears
stars appear;
propel us in despair,
countless show up in the sky
faithful,
without leading astray.
a troubled ship lost
in turbulence,
gets way back
beckoning a star,
holding twinkle as 'hope'

very good indeed
There are constant lights in the darkness, which will lead us onward until dawn.
Hope is a beacon for troubled ships. I like the associations I have with this poem.

This is a lovely metaphor in these lines, you capture so much in this piece. Best to you in the contest

there is always going to be a light in the darkness, to guide us.
we are never alone
beautiful metaphor, for the stars are much more then hope they are directing us.

Like the person said before me, there is still a glimmer of hope. You have written such a beautiful piece of writing. It really is wonderful

-
There is a glimmer of hope still left in this world..
that is the message I got as I read it. Simple and
truthful..good luck.
