Monster

Inside every man is a monster, a beast straight from the pit.

Normally we fight against it, keeping it trapped in it's cage.

But now, I don't want to, I want to set it free and watch the fun.

Does this make me evil, for wishing pain and death on others?

Probably, but I don't give a shit, I'm gonna break the cage wide open,

and my true self will be there for all to see.

I'd start running if I were you.

What did you think of my poem?

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

    ...

    very true,
it doesn't mean you are evil.
you may have the dark power, doesn't make you evil (using a metaphore for a game)

Very forceful ,raw poem, and everyone has a beast within them, that when down or very angry we would like it to be set.

    Welcome to Allpoetry

You see... sometimes I think that it makes us human. I mean if you think about the animal kingdom, and the way in which they let loose, that makes us animalistic as opposed to sadistic.

    Just a thought
