Sometimes I close my eyes, to see your face.
Your lips so soft and your eyes so sweet,
It’s nearly as if you were standing next to me.
Sometimes when I look at you,
I think I’m looking at an unrealistic fantasy.
To even hear you is such a gift to my ears,
You’re the biggest miracle I have ever seen,
And even so, I can not keep you.
I can not hold your hand,
To show you I love you.
I can not kiss you to tell you I need you.
So Sometimes I close my eyes
And I dream of you and I,
Together,
Together in my thoughts,
Where we live happily ever after..

This is great! I know the feeling, trying to get over my ex and it could be the most difficult thing right now. This fits my emotions also, dreaming of being together hurts the reality.
