A Life Lived

I have lived a short life compared to others,
Been to only places in a confined area
Viewed only one ocean but many lands,
I have never seen actual poverty hands on
But I have seen a world filled with lies and deceit
People filling their empty souls with riches piling higher than heaven.

Experiences have made me hard headed, and warm hearted,
I have witnessed things that glue to your brain and heart for life
And I have come to understand that problems in life come and go
To be replaced with a time of happiness or rather content.

I have been through many thoughts and strange desires of hate and love,
Blood has coursed through my vains and I have felt many a feelings
Though there is nothing compared to the true peacefulness and understanding
Of knowing that all this will disappear one day, lost forever to the world
As your mind fades to nothing.
