    The lines fit together perfectly. I liked the part of the "Halfway there sunrise." I think it's wonderful to reflect good times we have.

    Mine had an outhouse and I remember it well. Yours is a very cute poem and comes with memories attached. Good luck in the contest and hapy trails.

      Mine had an outhouse too. and chickens and at certain times of the year a pig being fattened. I miss her every day. Great contests. I loved that quote. It broght back memories for a few poems.
